Murexin

The opposite of complex is simple

The working world is becoming more and more complex. This is reason enough for Murexin to make it easier for its employees and customers. How can we reduce the workload of the production team? How can we make our processes more efficient? How can we communicate better with each other and respond more quickly to customer requests? Murexin has listened carefully to all areas and successfully simplified many things.

More Automation in production

In June 2024, the new production plant of Murexin GmbH in Wiener Neustadt was officially opened. Today, it is the most modern production plant for SMP adhesives (silylated modified polymers for bonding and sealing) in Europe. Buckets are automatically filled, closed and labeled. A robot stacks the filled buckets on pallets. The wrapping machine then wraps the pallet and makes it ready for shipment. This saves material and reduces waste by half. Two new heating chambers preheat the raw materials in an energy-efficient manner. This makes a lot of things easier. The production team saves time and effort.

Save 123 tons of CO2 -Murexin trucks run on fuel made from biological waste

The renewable fuel is called “Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils” (HVO). It is produced entirely from waste, fats, vegetable residues and vegetable oils. The trucks are on the road for Murexin customers for 200,000 km a year. By using this fuel, CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 90 percent compared to fossil diesel.

Simplifying processes with digital solutions

Murexin seizes the opportunities offered by digital solutions. With new electronic systems, the company ensures that less time is spent on internal processes and more energy is put into what really helps customers – solutions that make their everyday lives easier and more efficient.

Simply customer friendly
Instead of printing and sending invoices, only to have the customer digitize them again, Murexin relies entirely on electronic delivery. This considerably simplifies both internal workflows and customer processes. Both sides save time and resources, avoid errors and work more efficiently – a win for everyone and for the environment.

Direct access to the client
With the EDI interface (Electronic Data Interchange), customers can process orders and invoices fully automatically. Orders are transferred directly into the Murexin system, which saves manual work, reduces errors and accelerates processes. Invoices are transmitted directly and legally securely into the customer‘s system.

Enhanced transparency and security
In addition to electronic delivery and EDI solutions, Murexin also digitizes documentation to ensure everything is available wherever it is needed. With the new Legal Care System, Murexin brings order to notifications, permits and documents. Automatic warnings and a structured design provide transparency, minimize legal risks and make the system practical and secure.

Fewer errors due to shorter meetings
The new meetings are clear, brief and informative. The monthly meetings in a large group are over. Instead, there are now short meetings held daily. The success is measurable: the wet production at Murexin GmbH in Wiener Neustadt has been running for more than 450 days without a faulty batch.

Discuss important matters directly in production
Murexin calls these new meetings “shop floor meetings”. The discussion takes place where what is being discussed also happens. Every day, employees from different departments talk for a maximum of 10 minutes about availability, delivery times and the quality of raw materials directly in wet and dry. Afterwards, everyone knows what needs to be done and can immediately devote themselves to customer orders. This makes it possible to react quickly to problems or, ideally, to recognize them before they arise.

This is how employees contribute to success

Not only are Murexin Germany‘s own employees involved in the new advertising campaign, they also helped develop it. That is why they support the campaign and are enthusiastic about it. This has a positive effect on the outside world and illustrates the company‘s proximity to its customers.

It‘s so easy to win new customers
Murexin Deutschland has taken a close look at the market and identified which new customers it would like to acquire. Together with the new sales manager Thomas Prechtl, the internal sales team and the application technology department, the strongest future customers in each area were identified together with the respective field staff. The recipe for success: a targeted focus on these customers.

New putty range for the German market
Today‘s self-levelling compounds should be hybrid, not form cracks and create as little dust as possible. It is particularly good if they have an important approval: the “Blauer Engel” (Blue Angel) approval. This allows you to participate in many public projects. Together with Murexin Austria, Murexin Germany has found out which range of fillers would be ideal for the German market. Then they looked at which flow masses were available in the international Murexin network. The result is a new range of fillers that is specially tailored to the requirements of the German market and is also cost-efficient. It has already been presented at the “BAU 2025” trade fair.

Improved customer experience when ordering in the web shop

At the Hungarian branch, dealers not only place their orders digitally, but their orders are also processed digitally. The advantage for the customer is that they can easily and conveniently place orders at any time. All their orders and delivery notes are always clearly and immediately available.

With a larger warehouse, we can deliver more flexibly
A comprehensive expansion of the warehouse has doubled the capacity from 708 to 1,442 pallet spaces. The additional storage space means that almost the entire product range can now be delivered immediately.
