CSC Gold certification simplifies sustainable construction
Wopfinger Transportbeton has reached a significant milestone: the first group of selected concrete and gravel plants have been awarded the Gold Certificate of the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC). This certification underlines the commitment of WTB to sustainability and the conservation of resources and focuses on a current customer need: sustainable construction. And that is now easier. Companies that act in an environmentally, socially and economically responsible manner are awarded the CSC certificate, a global seal of quality for concrete, cement and aggregate manufacturers. The seal of quality applies to individual production sites and can be issued at the bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels.

Simplifies customer orientation
With its clear evaluation catalog, the CSC certificate offers orientation in increasingly complex sustainability evaluation systems. The score achieved by Wopfinger Transportbeton for the gold certificate can be directly incorporated into the building evaluation, which in turn benefits the customer, as it is recognized by the most important building certification systems in German-speaking countries, such as ÖGNI, BREEAM and others.
Digitalization simplifies scheduling and ordering
Thanks to the sensors installed in the truck mixer, the dispatcher can easily monitor the location and status of the vehicles and plan even more precisely, as well as react quickly to deviations from the plan. The digital ordering app enables customers to place orders flexibly and independently of time, whether by cell phone, tablet, laptop or PC. The digital delivery note, which can now also be accessed via the “My Wopfinger” customer portal, has been particularly well received. The option of sending by email is still available.
