Eurominerals
Store data externally, serve customers directly
EuroMinerals took a long, hard look at their own processes and took action: they kept what was good and replaced what could be better managed with a digital solution. The gratifying result – EuroMinerals received two coveted certifications: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and the Ecovadis sustainability rating.
Digital customer management makes it easier
Instead of managing customer data in countless Excel files and documents, everything is now stored in an online customer care system. The data is saved on an external server—essentially in the cloud—so it can be securely accessed and updated from anywhere with the right login. This includes master data, contacts, projects, offers, reports, and sample shipments.. The platform is also used to create the annual budget. It has an interface for the transfer of billing data to another important system, the ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning), which is used to plan and manage personnel, resources, capital and much more. A total of 4 departments now work in the euroMinerals customer care program – Calmit AT, Cales de Llierca ES, euroMinerals AT and euroMinerals PL. This avoids the duplication of customer care.
Direct customer service is being expanded
Since the products of euroMinerals require a great deal of technical advice and their use must usually be considered individually for each customer, the company deliberately relies on direct support from experts and is continuously expanding this sales team. Personal customer visits with appropriate follow-up care are the key to success. In order to be able to make customer-specific recommendations, most of the sales staff have a chemical-technical background. This means that the customer is visited by both a salesperson and a technician.
